Highly recommended

Great location - only 5 minutes from the station. Lovely communal area where you can chill and chat with the friendly owners.

Nothing really. It was a great option especially for us as a family of 4.

The owner of the hostel made this an extraordinary...

The owner of the hostel made this an extraordinary experience for my boyfriend and I. She went above and beyond to walk us to a scooter rental place and translate for us to rent the scooter as well as to get bus schedules for us. The place is very clean and comfortable. You can ride bikes for free and it is a short walk from the train station.

The shower was a bit difficult because when in the holder the water shot into the mirror.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in...

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in ensuring a comfortable stay. They even provided a table of name cards to allow us to know where are the places to visit and eat. Conveniently located near the train station, I would definitely recommend this property to people visiting Hualien.

It was a little troublesome having to change out to their slippers to enter the property at times.

Everything ws beyond our expectation.

Everything ws beyond our expectation. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of power plugs in the room for our devices. Very near Hualien station where we could catch the bus to Taroko. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's was so nice that I extended my stay

I had a really wonderful stay here. I initially booked for 3 nights, but I liked the place so much that I booked 2 additionals nights. The room was really nice, super clean, with very comfortable bed and very important, a very good Wi-Fi (As a Digital Nomad, I had to work from my room). It's was also very quiet. Absolutly no noise during night. This is very rare in Asia that I don't have to wear earplug. Feel like home! The staff is very friendly, with good English. They have free bike, but I suggest you to rent a scooter to explore the Area. There are a lot of very good street food restaurants in the area, and it's very cheap.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walking to the train station...

Excellent location, 5 minutes walking to the train station (and bus to Taroko Gorge). Renovated bathroom. Very clean room and bathroom. Nice common area. Outside table. Welcoming staff (speak English).

When I booked the room "little room double" it was not mention with "no windows". Considering the price, not a big deal but this should be mentioned on Booking.com. Very limited time with staff at reception (be careful if you arrive earlier or later than check in because even during the day the door is closed). Do not empty rubish basket every day.

Wonderful staff

The staff is amazing. They are really accommodating and helpful. They have plenty of recommendations. They also make a great coffee and offered it for free! The hostel is very clean and comfortable. The lobby is a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It's really close to the train station. They also offer free bicycle rental.

The bunk beds are very noisy and creaky in room 607.
